Spring 2026 H. Russell Bernard Student Paper Prize
The Society for Anthropological Sciences (SAS) meets annually with the Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA). For more information, please go to their website– https://www.appliedanthro.org/annual-meeting . The meetings will be held in Albuquerque March 17-21, 2026. SAS is proud to sponsor the bi-annual H. Russell Bernard Student Paper Prize of $500.00 for the winner and also two Travel Awards for $300.00 each. These prizes are awarded for scholarly work by students that exemplifies the mission of SAS: to support empirical scientific research in any area of anthropology. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student. You do not need to be a SAS member at the time of submission (although we do encourage you to join by adding us as a section on the AAA website!).
